Filing Pocket

I make these things twice a week lately, and they are starting to look better as well. It felt about time to blog about it.

 Filing pockets, exciting.

Made from linen  and that seer fabric that also comes in blue.

Since I am the least bit professional I just eyeball the measurements by putting the paper over the fabric.
So its bigger than letter size paper.
Sometimes I do cut out the bottom separately or I cut  an extra two inch or less gap for the bottom. Either/or, but it works.
Than I cut out the sides the width is 4 1/2 (I used my phone) and the length is what ever it needs to be to pass over the paper.
Than I hem the all the patches.
(I do not sew in the dark, phone photo is just silly)
After all of it is hem I start to sew all the parts together.

(Another unintentional moody picture of sewing machine)

And now I got another filing pocket, so far I made seven
I also sew on buttons on the side for I think it looks cute.
